Graphic design, visual identity and typography are areas that I have explored throughout my career as a means of expression and this has captivated me for many years.
Having gained extensive design experience in London and more recently in Warsaw, I have also developed my expertise within the group Canal+.
My identity design has been proven to work well across all communication channels from print to broadcast and digital. This demonstrates my deep understanding of the value of a strong brand. I am able to distill the essence of a brand and convey it through a simple, strong identity and my work presented below showcases this.
Polar+ is a TV channel entirely dedicated to fiction and crime dramas. I designed a logotype that had to convey the suspense and hidden narratives in a subtle way. I manipulated the typography to suggest a display of light and shadow that hides some of the letters along an angle repeated across the logotype.
To ensure the typography was consistent across the on air elements, I designed a specific alphabet based on the capital letters of the Futura bold font on the model of the logotype.
NSport+, renamed Sport+ on the occasion of its graphic redesign, is a Canal+ Group Polish channel entirely devoted to sport.
I designed this logotype by experimenting with dynamic verticals that are also a key visual element of the new identity for Sport+ on-air.
L’info du vrai is a French TV show presented by Yves Calvi in prime-time access on Canal+. I designed a logotype for this channel by playing on the expansion of the V into a reversed apostrophe from a typographic character I designed from scratch. The typography unifies the design by linking the two words in an elegant way.
The logotype and the main sections of the show are built from the same typeface and applied on-air production as well as for TV.
Zielona Rewolucja is a new Polish series of programs produced and broadcast on the channel Kuchnia+.
I created the concept with the theme of Thailand under the prism of vegan cuisine. For the design concept I superimposed saturated colors based on exotic forms that suggests Thailand in an abstract way. I designed the logotype by incorporating decorative elements characteristic of Thai typography into the Futura bold’s lower case letters.
David Alerte, is an elite athlete who participated in the 200 metres in the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, in Beijing in 2008 and several world championships. I designed a logotype using the initials in a dynamic movement to express the sporting values of a high-level champion.
This logotype holds the colors of Guinea with the K highlighted in negative by the coloured shapes. And with good reason :
Kindia 2015 is a sustainable development project in Guinea-Conakry. Initiated by Canal+ in partnership with UNICEF and several NGOs, journalists report on daily life in Kindia by broadcasting three documentaries. Thanks to a call for donations supplemented by Canal+, the Kindia 2015 project contributed to the financing of many humanitarian programs, including access to drinking water, installation of maternal and child health centers and promotion of sustainable agriculture.
Initiated by the French TV channels Piwi+ and Télétoon+, Super Héros de la planète is a program about sustainable development, inspiring young people to respect our environment through fun and engaging programs. Using a comic style aesthetic I created this logotype to appeal to a younger audience whilst also referencing the ecological theme.
Zeband is a French pop rock band. The dynamic logotype symbolically reflects the members that form the group.
I designed this logotype by deconstructing the layout of the letters while ensuring readability and simplicity. The typographic drawing comes from a bespoke typeface that I have created.
I designed the visual identity of a beer brand located in the upper reaches of Nontron, in the heart of the Périgord Limousin’s Regional National Park. The Brewery of Les 2 ours sets its business in the mainstream of local manufacturing and direct sales.
The aim here was to create a sense of proximity with the consumer in a highly competitive industry.
I designed this logotype from a geometrical base : 3 parallelograms suggesting screen TV to form the letter T.
Tandem is a German company specialized in the production and sale of quality drama television programs (eg. Pillars of the earth, Labyrinth, Spotless).
A cataphile is an urban explorer who rambles through the network of the ancient underground quarries of Paris more commonly known as the catacombs. Marathonien is an active member of this community who wanted to create a distinct visual identity to raise his profile in this field.
The concept I devised is a stencil logotype from drawn letters I designed, cut and produced. I set the text on two levels to evoke the Parisian underground. The letter ‘i’ suggests the presence of a cataphile in an underground environment.
I was commissioned to work on a logotype project on the occasion of the exclusive contract signed between Canal+ TV channel and the French boxer Tony Yoka, Gold Medalist at the Olympic Games in Rio. The star symbols reflect the drama of a boxing event.
